Business Services Group
Since 1996, Stifel Nicolaus’ Business Services Group has been providing investment banking services to a wide array of middle market clients that are focused on providing outsourced services to large corporations around the world. Stifel Nicolaus’ Business Services Group defines the Business Services Industry as being comprised of those companies that (1) provide a service rather than a product and (2) provide these services to businesses rather than to the consumer. Driven by the need to focus limited amounts of capital, technological resources and management attention on core activities, large corporations have continued to outsource non-core, non-strategic activities to these outsourced business service providers that have expertise in a specific service or function. Our group has divided the Business Services Industry into four major categories: - Outsourced customer-centric services (CRM)
- Outsourced employee-centric services (HR Management)
- Outsourced systems services (BPO)
- Outsourced process/facility management services (Fixed Asset Management)
Stifel Nicolaus’ Business Services Group initiates, structures and negotiates mergers, acquisitions and divestitures, as well as raises debt and equity in the public and private capital markets. Our network of public and private industry contacts and extensive experience and knowledge of the Business Services industry offers us the ability to develop creative solutions to complex situations and transactions.
